Stories in Stereo, a tour with Mike The Schwartz. Calgary to everywhere.

Storiesinstereo.

Your story. Turned into a song.

I help people who are afraid of being too much or too little turn that fear into fuel. Everyone who joins the tour is part of the band, and everyone in the band picks a song.

Mike The Schwartz, backpack producer and sonic troubadour.

How you join

Pick a place. Name a song.

1. Drop your pin

Spin the globe and tap a place in nature that holds a story for you. A forest, a river, a tree in your backyard.

2. Name your song

Give that story a title, the way you would name a track. Pick its brainwave, and add a plant and a living sound from that place if you know one.

3. You are in the band

Your pin is your seat and your title is your pick. I record the place, listen to its plants through biofeedback and turn it into neuroacoustic music.

Want a full song made from your story? Say so when you drop your pin. It is pay what you want, and I will reach out with the details. I read every story, and only what you say yes to goes on the record.

The globe

Where should the band play next?

Everyone who drops a pin is in the band. Spin the globe, tap anywhere in the world you think I should go, and name your song. I will build the next stops of the tour from your pins.

    The trail

      The setlist so far

        The exchange

A tour that runs on trade.

I am building couch surfing from my side. You tell me what you can bring, and I tell you what it gets you: a song made from your story, or a coaching session. One conversation, one fair deal. We talk, and we work it out.

        Cash

All in US dollars. A song like this typically goes for $1,100. The minimum is $333 one time, or $111 a month for three months. Add whatever feels right.

        A place to stay

Nights on your couch, in your spare room or house-sitting. I bring my own studio.

        A trade

A skill, a meal, a ride, gear, your time. If it helps the tour, it counts.

        Everyone gets a seat

Under the minimum? Tell me the story anyway. We talk, and we find a way together.

        Any mix

Some cash, some nights, a trade. Most offers will land here.

        What you get

A song made from your story, or a coaching session. On every song we make together, you are a writer with 20% of the song's splits. If it gets placed, your share goes with it.

        The music

Press play. Then come on in.

        The band

        You're in the band.

Stories in Stereo is the tour. Mike The Schwartz is the producer: the composer, the one holding it down. Everyone who participates is part of the story.

Nature is in the lineup too. I turn the trees, rivers and living landscapes of every place I visit into sound, through biofeedback and biosonification. Heck, my own biofeedback might just end up on the record too!

People who share their stories with me are invited to share them on the album. You face adversity, you get brave enough to move through it, and you share it in community. If you want your story or your biofeedback on the record, that is always your call. I'm happy to spread your message.

        How a song gets made

        • 1You tell me the story.
        • 2I record the place it lives.
        • 3We write it together.
        • 4You are a writer on it, with 20%. You're officially a rockstar now. Congrats.
        Fair payFair say

Art is art. A living thing, made by people.

Somewhere along the way, creativity turned into content. Songs became inventory, artists became suppliers, and a feed decides what gets heard.

I think streaming works for Spotify, Apple and the streaming companies, and pays the people who make the music pennies. Artists deserve fair pay and a fair say. So a few of my songs sit on the big platforms to help people find me. The rest lives on artist-friendly platforms and right here, where you hear it from me.

        Same story with people.

Everyone is told to be a brand, a niche, a funnel. Keep it safe, keep it repeatable, keep your failures hidden.

I spend my days helping people go the other way. Be brave and bear adversity. Tap into your own creative genius, the part that was there before anyone told you what sells. Embrace failing with courage, because on the other side of that fear is everything you want.

Stories in Stereo is a movement. I'm building a band of Rebels with a story to share.

        Your seat in the band

        Drop your pin

Plant and soundscape have to live at the place you pinned. That is what makes it your song.

Barter with the band. Tell me what you can bring. Pick as many as you like. I will write back with what it gets you. We book it together once we talk.
