Your client is running on empty.
Let's charge the battery.

Most coaches read a tired client as unmotivated. The truer read: their battery is dead. I'm Michael Schwartz, a neuroacoustic music producer and recovery specialist for coaches. I'll teach you neuroacoustic music your clients just put on and let work.

  • Passive recovery · just headphones
  • Easy on an empty tank
  • Neuroacoustic music producer & recovery specialist

// The wrong read

Lazy. Unmotivated. Checked out. Look again.

Your client skips sessions because their nervous system is stuck switched on. Their battery is dead.

  • You read it as attitude

    They're late, flat and skipping homework. It looks like a commitment problem. It's a capacity problem.

  • More effort, same stall

    Push an empty tank harder and you get exhaustion. Progress comes from recovery.

  • Recovery that costs energy

    Meditation, breath work and yoga all need juice in the battery. Your most drained clients are running on fumes.

  • You're running on empty too

    Go-go-go. Rest feels unproductive. You carry everything yourself. Your clients feel that.

The fix is capacity. Less load. More room to recover.

// Measured and grounded

Frequency is a buzzword online. Here it is a dose you can measure.

You have seen the posts. Linen at 50,000 Hz. Playlists that raise your vibration. Coaches smell that from a mile away, and so do I. Every track here is a tool we test against your client's physiology. Pick a marker. Run the dose. Read the numbers. If the needle moves, we keep going. If it stays put, we change the dose.

Sleep

Time to fall asleep. How rested they feel when they wake.

Recovery

Resting heart rate and HRV, from a tracker like WHOOP.

Focus

Minutes of deep work before their attention drifts.

Energy

How hard the session feels. How often they show up.

What I am after is a shift you can measure. Some clients move a lot, some move a little. The numbers decide what stays in the program.

The BeatRx Protocol — recovery that does the work for you.

Every other recovery practice is active. Listening is passive. I've split my career between the stage and the gym floor since 2006, and I studied neuroacoustics under Dr. Jeffrey Thompson. This music is built around all six brain entrainment states.

  1. When they're fried

    Reset

    A nervous system stuck on needs a way back down, and fewer tasks. Headphones on. The music does the work.

    • Down-regulate, effortlessly
    • Back toward default mode
    • Just headphones and a chair
  2. Through the day

    Focus

    Reset between meetings, before training, mid-afternoon. Short, intentional listening that clears the noise so they can actually show up.

    • Reset throughout the day
    • Clearer focus, closer to flow
    • Prescriptive and dosed, with a job to do
  3. At night

    Off-ramp

    Most people go from full speed to lights out and wonder why sleep feels so far away. Give the day an exit. Tomorrow's session starts tonight.

    • Off-ramp out of the day
    • Sleep deeper
    • Wake up with more in the tank

// Inside the protocol

What you learn in the BeatRx Protocol

The neuroacoustic protocol

My protocol for music built around all six brain entrainment states, and what each one is for.

Reset through the day

How clients use music to come back down and focus between the demands of a real day.

Off-ramp and sleep deeper

How to close the day so the nervous system can let go. Recovery starts the night before the session.

Teach it to your clients

Use it yourself, then hand it on. In my experience, clients who recover better tend to show up more and stick around longer.

Story work

Practical mindset for the beliefs that keep people stuck, like "rest is lazy" or "I have to carry it all."

Both languages

A professional musician and a recovery coach in one room. Sound science, translated for the gym floor.

// From the room

They feel a difference.

"I get constant positive feedback from clients on how the music supports the sessions, and they feel a difference with the songs."

Megan PomarenskyMegan Pomarensky
Athletic Therapist, Empowerment Training and Rehab

"Each frequency has a purpose, a dosing principle and saturation point. It did what it promised to do. And it made me smile."

Dr. Sean PastuchDr. Sean Pastuch

"Mike's music really is a game changer for athletic performance, recovery and athlete well-being."

// Questions, answered

Straight answers

Do my clients need special gear?

Headphones. That's it. They put them on, sit, and let the music do the work.

My clients skip meditation and breath work. Will this still help?

That's exactly who it's for. Meditation, breath work and yoga are active. They need energy your drained clients are short on. Listening is passive. Press play, and that's the whole practice.

Is this just a relaxing playlist?

It is a protocol. Each track is built for one job, reset, focus, off-ramp or sleep, and used at a set time for a set dose. In Dr. Sean Pastuch's words, it is prescriptive and dosed. We track one marker per client so you see whether it is working.

Is this frequency healing?

This is music with a job and a dose, measured against real markers: sleep, focus, energy and heart rate. Research on brainwave entrainment is still growing, and results vary from person to person. That is exactly why we measure every client instead of promising a magic number.

Who is this for?

Personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, online fitness coaches, leadership and executive coaches, health and wellness coaches, gym and studio owners, yoga instructors and practitioners. It's for anyone who works with clients and sees them burning out, dropping off or skipping homework.

What does it cost?

The standard 12-week cohort is $6,000 USD. The founding cohort is half that: $3,000, or three payments of $1,000. If you want me for a full year, the 12-month mentorship is $20,000. Cohorts are small, ten seats or fewer. Join the waitlist and I will call you to walk through the protocol, the schedule and whether it is the right fit for you right now. Get on the list here.

What will I actually use this for?

Two ways. Plug it into the coaching you already do, so your clients recover, show up and get results. Or run it as its own practice: help people downshift their nervous system with dosed sound. Sound work you can dose and measure, grounded in science.

Do I need to be a coach or trainer?

The protocol works for coaches, trainers, therapists, bodyworkers and practitioners. It also works as a standalone skill for anyone who wants grounded, practical sound work for the nervous system. You bring the people. The protocol gives you the tools. Level 1 on its own is enough to start practicing as a Certified BeatRx Practitioner.

Is this an accredited certification?

It is a private BeatRx certification, issued by Michael Schwartz, the same way many respected coaching methods certify their own practitioners. It sits outside music therapy and CEC programs. What it gives you is the training, the assessment tools and a license to prescribe from the BeatRx library.

What comes after this?

The BeatRx Protocol is Level 1: the sound. Level 2 is Sonic Storywork, another 12 weeks pairing each brain state with a language game. Your lyrics change your life. After that, a small number of practitioners each year join Michael for a private year-long apprenticeship to become BeatRx Masters.

Why do I need certification to use the music with clients?

Each state has a dose and a saturation point, and using it well with other people takes some training. The albums are open to anyone for personal use. Using them with clients is what the certification is for.

What if I'm the one running on empty?

Most coaches I work with are. Go-go-go, rest feels unproductive, everything on your shoulders. Start with yourself. Your clients feel the difference when you have something left.

Lazy, or empty?

Picture the client who cancelled this week. Short on motivation, or short on capacity? Which one are you coaching tomorrow?
